There are increasing signs that Sadio Mané could leave FC Bayern after just one season. The Munich club are not the only ones considering a sale in the summer; the 31-year-old Senegalese is also said to be flirting with a return to the English Premier League.
According to the British portal Football Insider“, the Senegalese is said to have told friends that he misses Liverpool and is keen to return to the Premier League this summer.
It is clear: Due to the escapades in recent weeks off the pitch (Zoff with ex-coach Nagelsmann, brawl with Sane), Mané no longer has too good standing on the bar.

With Jürgen Klopp & Co., he became English champion, cup winner and won the Champions League in 2019. In 269 appearances for Liverpool, Mané has 168 goal participations.
As "Football Insider" claims to have learned, the people of Munich would be willing to sell Mané if they received a large part of the almost 32 million euros, which they paid in the summer of 2022.
Even in sports, the Senegalese national player has not really been able to meet the high expectations at FCB so far. In 32 games, he comes to 16 goal participations (11 goals, 5 assists). However, Mané has not yet scored a single goal in 2023.
However, a return to Liverpool FC seems rather unlikely at the moment. The club is targeting a major squad upheaval in the summer, at the age of 31 Mané would not really fit into the personnel planning of the Reds. In addition, the club with Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo who has already signed three new offensive players after the departure of Mané, all of whom can be used in his position(s).
