The FSB has said it foiled a potential attack on military and energy facilities in the Voronezh region.
According to Russia’s officials, three Ukrainian saboteurs were eliminated during the security operation.
At the saboteurs base of operations the FSB discovered two improvised explosive devices, firearms, ammunition, as well as communications devices.Magnetic mines, plastic explosions and other evidence have been seized during the bust, Russia's security service FSB said.
Several Russian nationals “involved in the preparation and material support of the terrorist attack” have been taken into custody, the FSB added.
The security service noted that communications between the plotters and Ukrainian special services had been discovered during the operation.
