| Russian Troops arrive in Belarus in response to Ukraine’s Military Reserve deployment to the Border |
The first trains carrying Russian soldiers to Belarus under a new deal have reached their destinations, the Belarusian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday.
This comes after Moscow and Minsk agreed earlier this week to deploy a joint force in response to NATO’s increased military activity on Belarus’ frontier.
The ministry said in a statement, “the decision to create a regional grouping of troops has been taken and is being implemented solely to defend” the borders of the Union State amid the “ongoing activity in the border areas.”
It is safe to assume that picture will change after that. Also, no one has a clue what is going on in Belarus. Our analysis team is scratching its heads, is it a ruse, or real attack is planned?
If option number 2, there are so many scenarios that we can't even number them. Maybe the answer lies in the recent Putin statement "when we withdraw from Kiev, they immediately stop thinking about negotiations". That can be one option.
The second could be attacking more towards the west, to isolate Kiev and stop supplying weapons. The third one can be attacking more to the east, striking Chernigov Sumi and eventually Kharkov, thus sealing the border...There are a few more possibilities, except if it is indeed just a faint. But it's also a very useful faint. Time will tell.
Let's not forget that on October 15 Ukrainian army moved everything it has to the border with Belarus, including cadets.
Now we don't know where they have placed their reserve forces. Perhaps they are in the final stages of deployment and are about to attack. I don't really know.But clearly Ukraine have reached the point where they have to defend their capital Kiev with cadets.
Also Vyacheslav Volodin said that the government needed to do everything to ensure that the recruitment of reservists reaches its goals within two weeks.
