The president of Russia issued a decree of Martial Law in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions as well as the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics.
Putin: Martial Law to come into force from midnight - Presidential decree will allow for response to emerging security risks
President Vladimir Putin has announced Martial law for the four new regions of the Russian Federation. Here's a breakdown of Security Council meeting:
- Kiev refused to negotiate, continues to shell new Russian territories using terrorist methods.
- Saboteurs are trying to enter Russia, attempts to attack nuclear plant and civilian infrastructure prevented.
- DPR, LPR, Kherson & Zaporozhye regional heads will be handed additional powers to ensure security of populations.
- Russia must adjust state migration policy to counter existing and future challenges
- Payments will be no less than 195k rub per month (circa $3,100).
- Proud of those who have joined the Armed Forces - should be provided with proper food, equipment, housing & healthcare.
