China announced all 17 countries that will be admitted to research work on the Chinese orbital station.
Apart from Poland, that now can into space, the lack of the US is indicative. The Chinese commission did not see any worthwhile scientific research that could be made by US scientists at the station, despite their interest.
According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), scientists from 17 countries will conduct experiments on tumors and microorganisms, flame instability, nebular gas spectral studies, and develop solar panels for space applications.
These experiments will help understand the causes of cancer and bacterial infections in long-term manned space exploration, provide a theoretical basis for fire safety in space and develop a more efficient energy source.
"The purpose of China's manned space program is to benefit all mankind by peacefully using outer space," said CMSA director Hao Chun.
