British journalist, blogger, and BBC host has this 28th June 2022 passed on due to being diagonised with bowel cancer since 2016 after a while of receiving end-of-life care at home.
Mother of two, was announced dead via a long emotional post on her Instagram page and said to have breathed her last breath peacefully surrounded by her loved ones
“We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Dame Deborah James, the most amazing wife, daughter, sister and mummy. Deborah passed away peacefully today, surrounded by her family” Post read.
The post kept on reading and praising her contribution in the world especially her efforts mostly recognized for campaigning about cancer
“Deborah, who many of you will know as bowelbabe, was an inspiration and we are incredibly proud of her and her work and commitment to charitable campaigning, fundraising and her endless efforts to raise awareness of cancer that touched so many lives. Deborah shared her experience with the world to raise awareness, break down barriers, challenge taboos and change the conversations around cancer. Even in her most challenging moments, her deternmination to raise money and awareness was inspiring.”
Deborah will forever be remembered for always encouraging people to live life because it is worth it.
