President Steinmeier welcomes Emir of Qatar in Berlin amid energy crisis
German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier greeted Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at Berlin’s Bellevue palace.
The leaders are expected to discuss the supply of the liquefied natural gas amid the energy crisis.
Emir arrived to Berlin after his visit to Spain amid his expanded European tour.
The strong relations of cooperation between Qatar and Germany include various fields, and the development of these relations was at the top of my agenda today with His Excellency President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and His Excellency Mr. @OlafScholz .
