A campaign pushed by coworker and friend Sheilah Gashumba who requested people to at least send 500.000 UGX to Edwin Katamba also known as MC Kats ended up having different people send him different amounts of money resulting him into making some extra large money on this particular special day he was born on.
“Let’s give people flowers when they can still smell them; 500k birthday challenge for MC kats ug from everything in the entertainment industry (his birthday is 1st June) he is always pushing for Ugandan Music” she posted.
After the post, some people starting to react and even sending much more than what’s asked. Some names which were saw included; Nina Roz, Alexi Muhangi, Cask lounge and restaurant and many more.
