The Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko tried to cross the border into Poland for a second time, Ukrainian media reported citing state customs service sources.
Members of the State Customs Service stationed there reportedly did not want to take responsibility for deciding whether to let him leave the country.
Poroshenko is currently facing treason charges in Kiev and had previously sworn to protect Ukraine from Russia's military operation live on television and told CNN viewers how he was going to defend Ukraine with a Kalashnikov assault rifle in his hands.
"This is Kalashnikov, we have - let's think - about four NLAWs, 300 members of the territorial defense battalion, we have two machine guns - well, more or less that's it."
