Musician Joseph Mayanja commonly known as Chameleone and CEO to Leone Island music empires does not feel so much respected as a legend due to being nominated in some awards like Zzina Awards where he has recebtly been nominated in different categories like; Best Afro Beat song "Forever", Artiste of the year and best fans team.
"Forever" hit maker put Zzina awards organisers down when he said that he is on a next level and his nominations should be substituted to artists working harder to be a part of Zzina awards and not him.
"I wish to bring in my concern as a General in this celebrated music industry. Please, next time substitute my nominations to the artists that work hard to be part of the Zzina Awards. I don’t mean to say I don’t appreciate being part of it. But I am sure so many young artistes need that space. I guess next year you’ll consider something like “Lifetime Achievement where many great artistes like me belong,” he posted.
Chamelleone has been in Ugandan music industry for more than twenty years and has won about 20 different international big awards and nominated in more.
