Ugandan authorities have restored access to Facebook on Tuesday without any notice or official announcement after shutting down the social media site several months ago and to be honest Ugandans had been fed up of using VPNs and also many businesses who had been operating online have been struggling a lot due to it's ban in Uganda.
Facebook was shut down on the eve of Uganda's elections on Jan. 14 this 2021. 'The government of Uganda will maintain its shutdown of , Facebook until the government deems its safe from being used to inflame tensions,” it said in a statement at the time.
