Mayanja Ibrahim alias Big Eye Star Boss, a Ugandan renown singer, song writer and a strong and proud member and supporter of National Resistance Movement - NRM which is currently the ruling party in Uganda, via many posts slides he expressed about how he feels his political choices are affecting his music career but making notes that it shouldn’t because it is totally his rights to go whatever ways he chooses.
After HE Yoweli Kaguta Museveni reopening the entertainment center, many artists and events organizers jumped through it and organized their long missed events to interact with party lovers so did Big Eye starboss although the way public received his “Big eye Fest” was quite not hospitable enough as they were pointing back at history that happened back in 2020 at Spice Diana concert vowing to pert him more bottles this time round again as soon as he lands on stage.
In a #freeme hash tagged post, he asked Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi wine to talk to his supporters and teach them democracy because they are affecting his career.
“Now which kind of Uganda Does National Unity Platform want if your selves you cannot practice democracy. Which wrong did I do to support Yoweli Kaguta Museveni and National Resistance Movement – NRM? I challenge you Hon Bobi wine if you believe in democracy to speak to your supporters and tell them to separate music from politics. Let them stop attaching me when performing on stage. On stage am doing my official job. It’s now scaring my promoters and partners in the business and affecting my career. #freeme”

Although the comment section has been if not at all, a little unhelpful, there are some people ‘neutral’ who are on the same side with Big Eye begging Ugandans to support him because he is not the cause of their ‘misfortunes’
“If you are fighting Big Eye Starboss then yo fighting a wrong person. You know who to attack. I am not an NRM fan neither am I NUP but I think NRM NUP SAME SAME.
