Ugandan talents manager, producer, singer, and song writer Yesse Oman Rafiki, During an interview with After 5 emphasized that he is putting his focus on fresh and new raw talents after 4 years of working with the budding star Vivian Tendo.
“There is a lot that happened behind the scenes that you people do not know about. This situation has taught me many things about the industry. I was recently at Kazi and I got blown away by the underground talent. I saw people playing different instruments yet they don’t even have a song, so I am now going to tap into that for now” he said.
This follows a harsh break up situation that has been there between him and Vivian Tendo who has been under his management, where it reached an extent of Vivian Tendo posting it all over her social medias in the name of what she called ‘protecting herself.
“Even if Yesse Oman Rafiki comes back crawling, I cannot work with him again” she cemented her stand about never working with her former manager again.
That all made Oman Rafiki take the decision of changing his focus and as he said in the continuation in the interview, return to people who really need the industry and want it rather than those who don’t.
